• Should possess good communication skills and verbal ability.
• Should have basic understanding of NAS and Networking protocols (16Gb FC, 10Gig, VLAN, LACP, Jumbo Frames)
• Basic understanding of NDMP, DPS, De-dupe, NAS Replication
• Familiar with Windows ADS, CIFS, Kerberos, NTLM, DNS, Domain Controller is a plus
• Familiar with the following Operating System is a definitely a plus: Solaris, OEL, RHEL, Windows,HP-UX, IBM AiX, Mac
• Should have basic understanding of scripting: PERL, Java, Python scripting
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• As a member of the software engineering division,the candidate will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
• Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
